Police said that Christopher Ehlinger is a danger to society. He was just recently arrested on a warrant charging him with a laundry list of criminal offenses going back to an incident on July 27, 2025. On that date he went to his ex girlfriend’s house on Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Southampton.
Prior to that day he lived with her and the relationship ran it’s course. Ehlinger was homeless and has no where to go so he would text his ex for money. There were times that she sent him some money via Pay-Pal, but recently she cut him off. In April of this year Ehlinger was accused of stalking is ex and showing up without an invitation.
Ehlinger was involuntarily committed due to his behavior, police said. Eventually, he got out of jail on a reduced bail and went right back to stalking the victim.
On July 27, 2025, he is accused of breaking into her residence through a garage door and then kicking the door to her house. When the victim confronted Ehlinger, he became violent. The victim ran from her own house and then Ehlinger is accused of locking her out of the house.
Police were called and spotted him driving in a vehicle that had bad plates, no insurance and he refused to stop for police. He sped away coming to rest in a strangers driveway, getting out of the car and escaping into the woods.
He was arrested this week and sent to prison on $750,000 bail. His charges include Burglary, threats, stalking and witness intimidation.
