It’s called Vinyl Lab and it is proof that phonograph records are not out of style. The store held an open house today to show off their new location at 925 W Lincoln Highway Avenue and it was well attended. In fact, a lot of record shows have good attendance but this was something different.
You can get records, CD’s and tapes and then take them downstairs to Audio Lab and hear your new purchase played on audio equipment. In fact, what made this event special was the two businesses are located in the same building. both owned by David Levitan.
The record store has items for $1.00 and they have items for $100.00, it all depends on condition and demand. An unknown singer is going to be in the bargain bin, but more well known could be In their own section. There were items in the bargain bin that were really good buys, like Al Stewart, Linda Ronstadt, Barry Manilow just to name a few.
The stereo store has affordable components, that anyone can buy, but then there was the high-end area. A turntable could be as much as $6500.00 . A home theater set up with movie theater sound, screen and seats could set you back $400,000, it’s a custom made JBL system.

Most people don’t have the room for that, but they did have some home theater type systems for sale for a lot cheaper. The business can be a bit confusing to get to. Google GPS keeps sending people to Penndel. This is in Morrisville, about a mile from the bridge to go over to New Jersey.
The open house/showcase runs until 8:00 PM today, Saturday Aug 23, 2025. Food trucks and live bands are going to be there as well. The stereo store is in the front, a flight of steps will get you to the record store around the back. No elevators.
