A grinding two car crash at the intersection of Oxford and Cottman Avenues resulted in minor injuries to at least one person. This happened about 2:25 PM, just in time for school dismissal. Kids from neighboring schools stood on the sidewalk, wondering just what happened.
One vehicle, the one that flipped, was traveling south, when another vehicle which was on Cottman Ave. turned in front to go onto Oxford Ave. Two medic units were brought to the scene and the west bound lane of Cottman Ave was closed along with the Southbound lane at Oxford Ave.
Private tow trucks up righted the vehicle while the medic units tending to those that were injured. Police said one driver might have went through a red light. One of the vehicles was registered out of Nebraska. Both drivers are from the area,
