BENSALEM, PA — Police have arrested one suspect in connection with a violent attempted robbery outside a Wawa in Bensalem earlier this month and are asking for the public’s help identifying a second man involved.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Wawa located at Street Road and Kingston Way. Officers were dispatched after reports of a fight in progress. When they arrived, the victim told police that two males had approached him to ask about his scooter before turning assaultive and attempting to steal it.

According to investigators, the suspects repeatedly punched and kicked the victim in the head and face. Both fled the scene without taking the scooter, and initial efforts to locate them that night were unsuccessful.

Surveillance footage from the convenience store and cellphone videos recorded by bystanders later helped police identify one of the attackers as Angel Lorick, 19, of Bensalem.

Lorick surrendered to authorities on Thursday, October 23, at Bensalem Police Headquarters. He was arraigned by District Justice Lisa Gaier and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $350,000 bail. He faces charges including robbery, assault, and related offenses, police said.

Investigators are still searching for the second suspect, described as a male wearing a black coat with a green sweatshirt underneath. Police are urging anyone who recognizes the man seen in the surveillance video to contact them.
