Beloved Santa Scott’s Home Destroyed In Fairless Hills Blaze

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA – A devastating fire struck the home of Scott Diethorne, affectionately known as “Santa Scott,” on Auburn Road in Fairless Hills late Saturday evening October 25, 2025.

The blaze, which began around 9:45 p.m., left the residence fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, the homeowners were not present at the time and returned shortly after the fire had been extinguished. Tragically, two dogs and a bird perished in the fire.

Scott has been a cherished figure in the community, bringing joy to countless children by portraying Santa Claus at various local events. His warm presence and dedication to spreading holiday cheer have made him a beloved member of the Fairless Hills area.

In response to the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to support Scott and his family during this challenging time. The funds will assist with immediate needs and help them rebuild their lives after this devastating loss. Community members and supporters are encouraged to contribute to the campaign and offer their condolences.

The fire, which appears to have originated in the attic, is currently under investigation by the Falls Township Fire Marshal’s Office. Assisting at the scene were the Falls Township, Levittown No. 1, Levittown No. 2, William Penn, Edgely, and Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad fire departments.
