Warminster Resident Pleads Guilty To Trying To Blow Up Ex Boss’ Vehicle

Michael Patrick Takacs, Jr., 44, from Warminster Pa pleaded guilty to detonating a bomb under his former supervisor’s car across the river in Delran NJ. He will be sentenced October 8 2026. Takacs was fired from his job and he made a bomb in his house, He then put nails and other sharp objects in the bomb for maximum damage authorities said in court filings.

Takacs then found out where his boss lived and took steps to conceal his identity. He left his cellphone home so it could not be tracked. He took off his car’s license plate. He covered his face. In spite of those efforts, he was caught just a few days after the April 2025 incident.

He remotely blew up the bomb after he placed it under his former supervisor’s car. No one was hurt. Ultimately, he was charged with transporting explosives.
