Last night, Gold Dust Woman a Fleetwood Mac tribute band played a show at the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater in Bensalem. For those new to the township, this sits right on the grounds of the township building near Knights and Byberry Roads.
Last night, the weather was fantastic, a prefect night for a show. By 6:15 PM parking was starting to be non existent and some people got creative in finding spots. Thousands of people showed up to see this band from Long Island, New York.
Since it’s the first show, there was a check presentation. $92,500 to the township from the bank to pay for the naming rights then few very short remarks from twp council and then it was time for the music, This band delivered hit songs from Stevie Nicks AND Fleetwood Mac. Most of what they played were the classic hits that everyone knows. “Rhiannon”, “Gold Dust Woman” were just some of the songs played.
This is the first show in the 2026 Summer Concert Series. They are usually held on Wednesday nights with the exception of the Fall Festival, which is on a Saturday in October. There is a small admission fee of $5.00 to get in if you are a township resident, $10.00 for non residents. Season passes are available but may be sold out by now.
Food is plentiful, there are food trucks and a snack stand. Money generated at the snack stand goes to help the Bensalem Lions. doors open at 6:00PM for everyone, 5:30PM for season pass holders. Concerts may be canceled due to bad weather.
Most of the bands are from out of state and they do not want to travel all day, set up the stage only for the show to be cancelled at the last minute. For bad weather, the township makes announcements on their social media pages regarding the shows. Go here for more info.
