Southampton Male Charged With Raping His Girlfriend

Police In Upper Southampton have charged Nodar Kikava with rape after an altercation with his girlfriend. According to police, they got a call at an address on New Road and were met by a woman who said that she had been forced to have sex with Kikava, her boyfriend of about four months.

It was on June 18, 2026 when officers spoke with her. She was bleeding from a facial injury that she said was caused by Kikava. During the day, she told him that she wanted to go to her own home and he wanted to have sex.

Police said that she kept saying “No” and then Kikava is alleged to have ripped off her clothes and then raped her. By the time police arrived, Kikava had left and went to his work location. police met him there and took him into custody. His girl friend was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

When police spoke with Kikava, he told them that the two had sex multiple times and her clothes were on a chair when he told police he ripped them. He told officers that the two were arguing about a damaged phone. He denied everything else, police said.

His bail was set at $50,000 /10 percent which court records show was posted.
