A house fire caused severe damage to two twin homes this morning on the 10000 block of Dedaker Street earlier today, July 10, 2026. The fire originated in the rear, on a porch deck of one of the homes, before spreading to the other, next door. The homes were twin homes, fire officials said.
There were reports of someone trapped inside but when companies got there, everyone was out safely. No injuries were reported. Fire officials have yet to rule on a cause. The fire marshal was called to the scene.
Damage in one of the homes was said to be extensive, with firefighters breaking windows and cutting the roof from the home. Companies were see priming hydrants nearby but they were not used. Cres were on scene for over an hour.
