There are several themed neighborhoods inside, including Center City, South Philly, and Fairmount. It’s a good way to learn where everything is should you want to return to it later. The event covers all things baseball. There are countless interactive exhibits where visitors can show off their batting skills. Many are sponsored by different companies and have different kinds of interactive games to play.

A Home Run Derby attraction lets visitors test their skills against a pitching machine. This writer hit a home run after about four tries. There’s also a virtual Home Run Derby powered by AI, where visitors can see how many balls they can put over the fence. Another exhibit, sponsored by SeatGeek, lets participants swing the bat to earn discounted tickets. It’s harder than it looks.
One hack for this event is having a Capital One credit card. Cardholders receive early admission. Otherwise, you’ll need to buy a ticket and wait in line. Speaking of buying things, food is available, and the menu includes gourmet options, not just hot dogs and chicken tenders. There’s something for everyone.
