A ladder that fell from a work truck caused another driver to be injured on Woodhaven Road, this afternoon. The incident happened on the Eastbound lanes of Woodhaven Road, just past the exit from Knights. Rd. That is where the ladder disengaged from the truck. A passenger car, traveling behind was struck, when the ladder came through the windshield of the car.
The driver of the truck did stop at the scene. Traffic was blocked by fire apparatus, until the shoulder was open. No injuries were reported to the truck driver.
There was minor damage done from debris to other vehicles that pulled to the shoulder. Private tow cleared the scene within 45 minutes.
