Eric Sanville was a teacher at the North Penn School District. He was arrested by the FBI this week after reports that he allegedly conversed sexually with an 11 year old Swedish girl over Snapchat. Authorities said that in the summer of 2025 he is alleged to have created two different Snapchat accounts and purported himself to be a 13 year old boy.
Authorities wrote in charging papers that when he conversed with girls, he used a fake photo of a young boy and told people that he was 13. At one point he started a group chat for children from nine to 13 years old. As a prerequisite for joining the group, girls had to send him naked photos of themselves.
One girl,11 years old, was from Sweden and he chatted her up and gave her specific instruction on how to pose naked for him, federal authorities wrote in court papers.. The girl did as she was told.
In another instance, Sanville is alleged to have sexted with a nine year old child. He instructed her on what to do with her body and how to pose for him. Those chats turned into videos that the nine year old is alleged to have sent him. The chats are explicit in nature and cannot be printed here. At one point, he directed her on how to remove her shorts.
When the FBI raised his Harrison Ave house in Norwood Pa, Sanville allegedly confessed to masturbating to the photos the girls sent to him and also had them do the same on videos. He was arrested about a year later, when the investigation was complete.
He was held without bail on child pornography charges.
