For those unfamiliar with the area, TJ Maxx and Marshalls have stores relatively close to each other in Lower Southampton Twp. That fact was not lost on Ronald Garner. He visited both locations recently and instead of shopping, police said he allegedly did some shoplifting.
According to police, Garner went three times between both stores and removed assorted merchandise without paying for anything. According to police, on those different times, he is accused of stealing about $1000.00 worth of merchandise.
Hi9s luck ran out September 3, 2026 and he was arrested at the TJ Maxx. on Street Road. He was charged with Retail Theft and related offenses. Garner remains behind bars under $20,000 bail, which was reduced from $50,000. His record for retail theft goes back several years.
