Voting season is upon us, with the municipal primary taking place on Tuesday May 21.
The deadline to register, or make changes, to your voter registration information, for the Municipal election is Monday April 22. Click for a Bucks County Voter Registration application.
Pennsylvania residents can also register to vote online via the Pennsylvania Department of State by clicking here.
If you plan to be away for the municipal primary, voters can apply for an absentee ballot by clicking here.
Last week the County Board of Elections posted its “unofficial candidate list”
Turnout for Municipal primaries in Bucks, according to county records, has not been stellar at all.
2011- 13.57 percent
2013- 11.26 percent
2015 and 2017- 12.11 percent.
As of December 2018, Bucks County registered voter breakdown by party is as follows:
Democrat- 196,365
Republican – 185,993
Other- 75,094
Total- 457,452 registered voters.
