One male is just a few steps away from jail and having his pet dog seized and possibly put down. It makes no sense. Philadelphia Police are hoping you can identify this male.
On March 3 2020 he was about to get gas at a self serve station at 2901 N Broad Street. He was approached by an unarmed male who asked him if he could pump his gas for a few dollars. This male does this regularly and is never a threat to anyone. Instead of declining the offer, the driver of a maroon SUV cursed him out and told him to leave the area. This male has no authority to remove anyone and no one asked him to remove the helpful male.
Since the man who offered to pump gas was not moving or not moving fast enough, the driver of the SUV got into his vehicle and let out his pitbull dog and forced the dog to attack the male. After the attack, the driver ran like a baby with his dog and jumped into his vehicle and sped away. The entire incident was caught on security camera.
This is the video The driver is stupid because he should have known this entire incident would be caught on film. Now the safety of his dog is in jeopardy and his freedom is as well. If you know who he is, call (215) 686-3243 Detectives would love to speak with you. The victim had to go to the hospital and since the dog is unknown, he has to undergo a series of rabies shots.
