Hopefully, three males arrested for at least one armed robbery in Philadelphia will be held in jail under high bail. On December 7, 2021 a male was robbed of his Rolex watch at gunpoint on Mozart Place. The thieves escaped in a Silver Lincoln MKZ. .
On December 15, 2021, people were moving furniture on the 1300 block of S 19th Street. As they were working, males in a Subaru passed them, stopped and reversed. The males got out, had gun drawn on the couple and demanded a watch and a cell phone. They got away in the Subaru but not before one of the victims got the tag.
Last night, Dec 15, 2021, police in plainclothes were patrolling Rittenhouse Square when they saw a Silver Lincoln MKZ and stopped in on Locust Street. the vehicle was occupied by three males. They were held that that location on Locust Street, and the victims from the garage robbery were brought over and identified them. The Lincoln was towed for police investigations pending a search warrant.
The Subaru was not located. The three males, all over 18 have not been identified or charged as of 11:30 AM. This story will be updated with names and mugshots when they become available.
