Overnight and into this early morning, Philadelphia Police were called to several serious incidents that involved shootings or stabbings in the Lower Northeast. They are as follows.
On Monday, February 27, 2023, at approximately 1:05 A.M., Philadelphia Police responded to the 1500 block of Foulkrod Street for a prior assault. A 34-year-old black male suffered stab wound in the back. Police transported the victim to Jefferson-Frankford Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Scene held, weapon recovered and arrest made. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.
On Monday, February 27, 2023, at approximately 12:15 A.M., Philadelphia Police responded to the 2800 block of D Street for a person with a weapon. A 54-year-old black male suffered stab wounds to the forehead and right shoulder. PFD-Medic Unit transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Scene held, no weapon recovered and no arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing with East Detectives Division.

On Feb.26, 2023, at 10:36PM, police responded to the 6200 block of Large Street for a person screaming.That call turned out to be a home invasion robbery attempt. The victim was accosted outside his residence when two males demanded that he let them into the house.He refused was struck in the back of the head with a pistol and shot once in the left leg. The suspects fled in a blue Honda. The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
