It was 6:30 AM on October 6,2023 and a vehicle slammed into a pedestrian at Frankford Ave. and E.Ontario Street. The pedestrian, identified as Carol Gascan from Martins Mill Road, was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was died several hours later.
According to police, the car, a Silver Nissan was south on Frankford Avenue and Gascon was walking East, against a red light when the crash happened. The accident impact shattered the window of the Nissan, which drove away.
Police think it might be an Altima or a Maxima.. Police checked the area for security cameras and came up with the attached photo. If anyone has in for on the location of the car, or the driver, they are asked to contact police. If the driver or owner attempts to fix the car or replace the windshield, they will face additional charges.
