According to police at the scene, a male who was attempting to break into a parked truck on Castor Ave. near Amber Street was shot and killed yesterday, about 11:30AM. He was shot multiple times, police said.
Police transported the male to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:12 PM. Police said the male that shot him is being interviewed by police. Charges are not expected to be filed.
Personal belongings were found alongside the truck, scattered on Castor Avenue.
