15 year old Jeremiah Jefferson is in the Philadelphia Prison System now, being held as a defendant . Police announced his arrest this week said he was helping the four males who are already in custody for the March 6 2024 shooting at a bus stop in Burholme. Police knew that the four did not act alone and they investigated the shooting more in depth.
Jefferson, police said was inside the Dunkin Donuts on his phone. He was in text conversations with at least one of the four males in the parked car. Police said he told them who to shoot and even described himself, what he was wearing, He is alleged to have texted “Don’t cook me” as he hoped he would not catch a bullet.
His planning was of no help to the seven others that were not the planned target. The shooters ambushed a bunch of innocent students from Northeast High School, over a personal beef. “We think there could be a beef between two groups of kids, we’re looking into this, we’re not done yet”, Said Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore , indicated that more arrests could be coming. This should never have happened and police are investigating where the shooters got their guns from.
Jefferson did not have a gun that day and did not fire any shots. He still is facing the same charges as his four co defendants. Those charges are Attempted Murder, assault and weapons charges. You can read the original story here./
