For the second time in 30 days someone has been arrested for eating at the Longhorne Steak House on Easton Road and then allegedly skipping out on their check.
It was on April 9, 2024 when Lamarr Spriggs entered the steakhouse, sat down and ordered
strawberry lemonade, a Sprite soda, 2 12 oz. strip steaks, 2 orders of mashed potatoes, 2 orders of broccoli, an order of shrimp, and 1 cup of ice cream.
That was apparently too much food to eat at one sitting, so Spriggs asked for a doggy bag . When the food was packaged up, he allegedly left the restaurant without paying for his food. He was arrested a few block away with the bags of food.
Spriggs was arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $100,000.00. Spriggs was unable to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
