Three teenagers are in serious trouble, after causing a massive accident in a vehicle that they might not have permission to drive. This carnage happened at the Linden Avenue exit from I-95 North. A Pennsylvania State Trooper saw their car strike another and take off, shortly before 1:00 PM today.
State police followed for a bit but broke off any pursuit. That did not stop the driver from exiting the off ramp at Linden Avenue at high speed, blow past a stop sign and collide with a garbage truck. The force of the wreck cause the truck to veer out of control and crash into a fence and take down a traffic light standard half a block away, officials said.
The entire incident is being handled by the Trevose Barracks of the PA State Police. Three males are in custody. One male was taken to the hospital after the crash. His other two friends ran away but were quickly apprehended. The driver of the truck is reported to be uninjured. The car had a license plate that was bent up. Police said they were having a rough time tracking down the owner.
