Man Shot and Robbed Playing Skill Game On Kensington Avenue

Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male who robbed and then shot a victim as he was playing a skill game, minding his own business. The incident happened on July 12,2024. As he was playing the game, he was robbed, police said. The robbery was inside a convenience store on the 3100 block of Kensington Ave, according to police.

The victim then went to confront the robber outside and was shot one time in his neck. The victim is currently listed in critical condition. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on a blue and silver Trek” mountain bike. Police did not say what was taken.

Suspect Description: Black male wearing a black mask, Black hooded sweatshirt with short or cut off sleeves, white splotches and large white graphic with “BIG” on the upper-right chest. Black pants and shoes. Large black backpack with multiple compartments Last seen riding a blue and silver “Trek” mountain bike.

The male was dressed all in black and had black face coverings, which was against the law as well. f you see this suspect, do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
