Police got a telephone call about 11:00 AM today, reporting that the War Memorial on Rising Sun Avenue was vandalized with Anti Semitic graffiti, stating “Hamas Is Here”, Police are looking for security camera footage to help them track down those responsible.
In similar news, police did obtain security footage of a white male and white female who spray painted like messages on a home in West Philadelphia, on the 500 block of South 45th Street, near Clark Park. That video appears below. The incident happened on July 27,2024, about 2:00 AM. Police did not officially say that the two incidents are related, but the suspects in the below video remain at large.
