When police went to pull over a Nissan Pathfinder on the 3500 block of Bristol Pike, the males inside of the vehicle Kevin Williams and Taheem Armstrong knew they were in trouble. They had a bag of drugs and a gun mixed in with underwear, as well as paper work with Kevin Williams name on it. The vehicle had a suspended registration on it and the driver, Armstrong has a suspended license as well as warrants from Bensalem for drugs.
The two bolted from officers and a perimeter was set up. Due to the close proximity of railroad tracks, Amtrak Police were also called in to assist. So was the state police. A search lasted several hours for these two.
Eventually, they were found. and did not cooperate with police . One trooper suffered a hand injury making an arrest. Both males had marijuana on them when arrested. Inside the car, police said they found approximately 30 grams of suspected heroin in the Pathfinder backseat as well as a blender and a significant amount of packaging material (blue wax bags and unused trash can-style containers)..
Kevin Williams was found to have no permit to carry in NCIC and also a felony conviction on his criminal history, not permitting him to possess/control a firearm. Taheem Armstrong, a 36-year-old male from Bristol, PA was charged with Narcotics offenses, Resisting arrest, and other related charges along with traffic violations. He was arraigned by District Justice Hughes and bail was set at 10% of $200,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Kevin Williams, a 30-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA was charged with Felon not to possess a Firearm and other Firearm-related offenses, Narcotics offenses, and other related charges. He was arraigned by District Justice Hughes and bail was set at 10% of $200,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
