Marvin Wicker was identified as the suspected driver in a hit and run accident that killed Dawn Watson on September 26 2024. This happened as the 14 year old girl was walking with her mother when Wicker allegedly drove at such speed he knocked her down the block. Neither Wicker or his vehicle stopped to render aid.
On October 5 2024 a warrant was issued and the US Marshals got a tip from police that he was living in a rooming house with another family member in Germantown. The US Marshals helped police make the arrest.
He was taken to police headquarters where he was formally charged with Homicide by Motor Vehicle
