A male driving a dark colored Mazda allegedly committed a traffic violation in Bensalem. Police said he was on Hulmeville Road when he increased his vehicle speed and almost caused a crash, as police were behind him. This was on October 26,2024. The driver, identified as Victor Miles from Flourtown pulled over on Park Ave.

Police approached the passenger side window, which was heavily tinted, police said, Officers asked Miles to roll the window down and he refused,. He even tried to get officers to go to the drivers side window. Other officers arrived and determined that Miles was alone in the car, police said.
However, on the passenger seat was an “AK Style” rifle within reach of Victor Miles. He refused police commands to exit the vehicle and police finally managed to convince him to leave the car, which he did, unarmed. Police said he reached near the gun a few times but never touched it.
The AK-style rifle was found to have an obliterated serial number, a loaded banana-style magazine, and a round in the chamber. The gun was in a condition that it was ready to fire. The vehicle was towed to the Bensalem Township Police Department, and a search warrant was obtained. During the search, officers recovered the DPMS AR15-style rifle with an obliterated serial number, numerous loaded firearm magazines for multiple types of weapons, shotgun rounds, a black “Balaclava”-style mask, a pair of gloves, and a black hooded sweatshirt with black duct tape covering the white wording on the front.
Multiple containers of marijuana were recovered, as well as drug paraphernalia. Victor Miles was charged with felony Possession of a Firearm with an Altered Manufacturer’s Number, Altering or Obliterating Marks of identification, and various drug and vehicle code offenses. Victor Miles was arraigned by District Justice Kevin Wagner and was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $300,000 bail.
