On March 26,2024, Lower Southampton Police said that John Marks walked into the ACME on Street Road and put several containers of laundry detergent into a shopping cart. He then left the store without paying and probably forgot about the theft very quickly.
The security cameras inside the ACME did not forget about the theft. Police identified the alleged thief as John C. Marks of Philadelphia. They did not have to go far to arrest him. he was found inside of a Philadelphia prison, and arrested.
Marks has a long history for assault, burglary and robbery as well as retail theft. He can add another charge of retail theft to his long list of arrests in Philadelphia and Bucks County.
