Male Wanted By Philly Cops For West Philadelphia Robberies

Philadelphia Police are looking to arrest the male in the over photo. They say he is responsible for committing at least three armed robberies during the month of October 2024.

What follows is a detailed version of what happened from Philadelphia Police.

Incident #1:
DC# 24-19-067210

On Monday October 7, 2024, police responded to a robbery in progress at Haverford Mini Market located at 5450 Haverford Avenue. The employees stated that around 1:30 pm an unknown black male in all black clothing about 50 to 60 years old with a white goatee robbed them with a handgun. The female employee behind the counter handed the offender $300 from the cash register after the male demanded money while pointing a gun at her. It was observed on video that the male was pacing outside the store around 1:20 pm. He entered the store at 1:25 pm and walked around inside for five minutes before committing the robbery. The male is then observed on video running out of the store north on 55th towards Westminster. No employees were injured during the incident.

Incident #2:
DC# 24-18-051665

On October 8, 2024, at approximately 12:54pm, officers from the 18th District responded to 4823 Chester Avenue for a report of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, they were met by the complainant, who stated that she was working the register when the offender entered and walked down an aisle. Then the offender approached the register area, pulled a firearm out of his waistband, and pointed it at the complainant and demanded money. The complainant handed over an undetermined amount of money, before fleeing the store.

Incident #3:
DC# 24-19-067844

On October 9, 2024, at 10:52 AM, 19th District Police responded to a radio call for a robbery in progress at 262 N. Simpson St at the Vine Deli and Grocery store. Police met with the Witness (cashier) who stated that an unknown black male entered the store, purchased cigars, and then pulled out a large black handgun and pointed it at the witness and demanded money out of the register. The Offender then walked around and tried to get behind the register. The witness then grabbed the firearm and wrestled it out of his hands with the assistance of another employee. The Offender then fled towards 65th St on foot.
