Philadelphia Police announced that two people were shot and killed earlier this morning on the 700 block of Adams Avenue.. It was about 3:45 PM when police were called for a person with a gun at that location. Upon arrival, officers found two people had been shot.
A 32 year old male had multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and face. PFD Medic Unit pronounced the victim dead on the scene at 3:58 a.m.

Victim #2: A male in his late 20’s to early 30’s was located with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and face. PFD Medic Unit pronounced the victim dead on the scene at 3:55 a.m. Police have not made notifications to family members.
No arrests have been made and a motive remains unknown. No weapons were recovered. Police are checking security cameras and license plate readers.

About four hours prior to this, a male was shot on the 4000 block of East Roosevelt Blvd. This male is expected to survive. An arrest was made and a pistol was recovered, police said. No motive was given. Police said the two shootings were unrelated.
