Philadelphia Police were called to the 1600 block of Willington Street during the early morning hours of February 18, 2025 for report of a shooting. When they arrived, the found a male, identified as Nasceer U. Thomas, a 21 year old male from the 5200 block of Fairhill Street. He has been shot one time in his stomach.
Medics and police arrived quickly after the shooting at 1:19 AM. Thomas was shot once in the stomach and he was found in a bedroom. Thomas was pronounced dead at 1:27 AM, police said.
A suspect, identified as Khaleef Brown, a 22-year-old who resides on the 2700 block of West Sterner Street. was taken to the Homicide Unit. Authorities also recovered a loaded 9mm handgun. police did not say what the motive was .
Brown is charged with Murder and related offenses.
