Keith Freeman is back in custody after he escaped from a half way house type residence while he was finishing a 96 month federal prison sentence for illegal firearms possession. . It was back on February 23, 2025, officials said, when Freeman got into a dispute with a staff member, at the Kintock Group on the 600 block of E. Luzurne Street.

He then got out of the facility, scaled two fences and ran off. US Marshals tracked him to a house on the 2400 block of Nicholas Street, where they found him hiding under a pile of clothes in the living room. He was taken into custody without incident.
Freeman was brought back to the Federal Detention Center where he will serve out the rest of his sentence, officials said.
