Police in the tiny borough of Conshocken made two arrests that broke a pick pocket spree wide open in the Delaware Valley. The thefts happened in the middle of November 2024, at the Hook and Ladder Pub. Women who were out, having a good time were targeted. The women had their purses slung over the back of their chair and they were not paying attention to what was going on.

Police said that is when Linwood Carlton Farmer and Nicole Pride would strike. They used a menu or a newspaper to conceal the view of other patrons. One would life the wallet from the purse and hand it off to the other. They both left and used the credit cards. However, in November, they got jammed up when a victim discovered that her wallet was missing and canceled her credit cards before they could be used, police said.

The two thieves tried to the stolen credit cards at the King of Prussia Mall but where denied. Video showed them taking the wallet and using the cards at the mall. The pair have been named as suspects in multiple jurisdictions across the region, such as Conshohocken, Tredyffrin, West Whiteland, Quakertown, Bensalem, Horsham, Lower Merion, Plymouth Township, Upper Dublin, Upper Merion, and Maple Shade, NJ.

It was video and other security cameras that lead to the duo being arrested, police said. They are both house in the Bucks County Correctional Facility and will face multiple charges of theft and related offenses, police said.
