Male From Georgia Pleads Guilty To Evading Airport Security At Philly International Airport

On March 9 2024, David Easley, 39, of Georgia, had a ticket to fly from Philadelphia International Airport to Atlanta. Easley was in the airport in Philly when he did not want to go past airport security. He had in his possession an airport security badge to get him into restricted areas of the terminal. The badge belonged to another employee. Easley was never employed at the airport, according to the US Attorney’s Office.

Easley then walked through a door,after using a keypad successfully and by passed the security, re appearing in the area of the terminal, for passengers that were properly screened.

Easley entered a guilty plea to one charge of Evading Airport Security this week.. He was caught when the TSA did a random inspection of the area and found him. It is unknown who Easley got possession of the employee card or how he new the code to enter the door to the restricted area.

He will be back in Philadelphia October 28 2025 for sentencing.
