Northeast Philadelphia Robber Pleads Guilty In Federal Court

Commit three armed robberies, spend a minimum of 24 years in federal lockup seemed like a good idea to Tyree Hatch, back in November 2024. He thought he would not get caught. The Large Street resident just entered a guilty plea in federal court . When sentenced, he will do a minimum of 24 years in prison.

One person was shot during a robbery that Hatch admitted to doing. Hatch had a long criminal record and a gun he used in the robberies was reported stolen from Bristol Township. You can read the original story from November 2024, here.

Hatch was arrested by police in November of 2024. He was subsequently indicted in the federal court system in January of this year. Hatch will be sentenced November 3, 2025. He will get a minimum of 24 years in prison, or he could get up to life behind bars.

His robberies included stores on Cottman Avenue, near where he lived.
