Just before 7:00 PM an argument happened n the 6000 block of Torresdale Avenue. Police said that argument turned into a fight and then a gun was pulled. Police said one person tried to disarm the gunman but in the process a male was shot at least one time.
A civilian saw the male needed help and was in the process of giving him a ride to the hospital. Near Deveraux and Marsden Streets. police stopped the car and rushed the shooting victim to the hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
The driver of the good Samaritan car was not charged with any crime. Police are looking for video of the shooting to see who they are looking for. Police said they have not yet made any arrests in connection with this shooting
