Trio Of Thieves Attack and Rob Woman Inside North Philly Store

by Alex Lloyd Gross

During the evening of August 9,2025, a woman went into a store to get something, on the 1500 block of Cumberland Street. That is when police said one female sucker punched her. As she tried to defend herself ,that is when two others attacked the victim.

As the victim fell to the floor, the three thieves then took her things. They took $80.00, a work identification and one sneaker, as the trio continued their assault. To put things into perspective, they each just committed a felony, took a work id from some place they do not work at, which will be disabled and replaced, one used sneaker and about $26.60 each , which they will have to replay when caught.

Police think the trio are local. They are asking for help in identifying who they are. Police will help get them into prison, where they can take classes to learn how to make better choices than steal something.
