by Alex Lloyd Gross

Philadelphia Police just released information on an armed robbery in Germantown. The incident happened on Halloween just after 10:30 AM. A male left his home and went to a corner store on the 4300 block of Wayne Ave. He needed to use the ATM. Inside, he saw a black male in a red jacket inside the store. The male appeared to be watching him. When he left he started to go about his day.

The same male in the red jacket came up behind the victim and pulled a gun. That male then took the cash from the victims pockets and fled west on Wayne Ave. Video surveillance from the area shows the offender walking south bound on Germantown Ave before he turned up the block to walk to the corner store. That could an indication the male is from the area.

Suspect Description: Black Male mid 20’s to 30’s wearing an black with orange top “North Face” jacket with a grey hoodie underneath with grey sweat pants and yellow and blue “Ja 3 Hustle and Flows” sneakers.
