Tullytown Shoplifter Just Made Things Worse For Himself


On November 17,2025 about 5:00 PM, Tullytown Police said that they got a retail theft call at the Home Depot. A male put some merchandise into a bucket and walked out without paying for anything. The male was gone when cops arrived but they checked area and found a suspect in the woods near the store.

The male fled, towards the Kenwood section and then allegedly jumped fences and went through the backyards of people’s homes in an effort to getaway, after he spotted police. He was eventually tackled. The male was identified as Steven Vandermooren of Philadelphia.

He is suspected of stealing almost $530.00 in merchandise from the Home Depot in Tullytown. His charges include retail theft and resisting arrest as well as theft. He was remanded to the Bucks County Prison.
