West Philly Resident Busted For Sexually Chatting Up Bensalem “Teen”

by Alex Lloyd Gross

On September 6,2025, a Bensalem Police Detective was pretending to be a 13 year old girl online, when 44 year old Curtis Evans, of N. 30th Street in Philadelphia took the bait. Even though police said the person chatting with Evans was 13, he continued.

The chats were explicit, with Evans telling the teen that he wanted to take her to a movie and put her hand down his pants in the theater. He would make out with her then take the teen back to his home for sexual intercourse. All of these chats were documented by officers.

Evans then is accused of sending naked photos of himself to the child and requesting the same. He even gave her instruction on how to do this and not get caught. On November 18, police said he drove to Bensalem to meet his online friend, but the meeting never took place.

In the meantime, police secured an arrest warrant for Evans. He was able to duck the warrant until last night when he was stopped by Philadelphia Police. His warrant was discovered and he was brought back to Bensalem for charges of Unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children( for sending the photos) and related offenses.

Evans was held on $500,000 bail and transported to the Bucks County Prison.
