Bucks County Fast Food Manager Arrested For Allegedly Groping Juvenile Employees Or Giving Them Drugs

Richard “Ricky” Brooks of Freehold New Jersey was the manager of a Wendy’s in Doylestown and also , later the manager of a Saladworks in Plumstead Twp. Police got a tip that he was grooming a male employee by supplying them with drugs. An Investigation was launched.

10 former employees were interviewed by police, including one who said that while employed as a Manager with Wendy’s, Brooks grabbed his penis without his consent. At the time, Brooks was between 28-30 years of age, and the juvenile was between 15-17 years of age, police said.

The investigation revealed that from 2020 until 2024, Brooks was allegedly giving his employees alcohol, medical marijuana cartridges, nicotine cigarettes, and his prescribed Adderall medication. A warrant was issued for his arrest on December 11, 2025.

On December 24, 2025, Brooks was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Stacey Wertman and bail was set at $100,000.00, 10 percent. Brooks, who was unable to post bail, was remanded to the Bucks County Prison. Brooks’ preliminary arraignment is scheduled at Judge Gambardella’s Court on January 12, 2026, at 0900.

His charges include Corruption of minors, possession of drugs with intent to distribute and Indecent Assault of a person under 16 years of age.
