Overnight, there were three different, unrelated shootings that occurred in the confines of the 15th Police District. One was a robbery and the other two the motive was unknown.
The robbery occurred on Feb. 2, 2026, at approximately 7:06 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a storage facility, located at 5400 Eadom Street, following reports of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, responding officers located the complainant, an employee of the facility, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Officers immediately transported him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
A preliminary investigation into the shooting indicates that an unknown male entered the facility, brandished a pistol, and announced a robbery. The employee complied with the offender’s demands, removing cash from the register drawer and handing it over. During the course of the robbery, the offender discharged his firearm, striking the employee. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene traveling southbound on Eadom Street while operating a minibike.
The investigation remains active and ongoing with the Shooting Investigations Group. No arrests have been made at this time. The Fatal shooting
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man in the Frankford section of the city late Monday night.
At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2026, officers responded to a radio call reporting a “person with a gun” on the 1600 block of Brill Street. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, identified as Orlando Diaz of Philadelphia, sitting in the driver’s seat of a silver Honda Accord. Diaz was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Emergency medical personnel transported Diaz to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:32 p.m.
Investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, and no arrests have been made.

Philadelphia Police Investigate Double Shooting in Frankford
PHILADELPHIA — Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the Frankford neighborhood that left two 19-year-old men wounded while sitting in their vehicle.
The incident began at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2026, when officers were dispatched to Jefferson-Frankford Hospital following the arrival of two walk-in shooting victims. Upon arrival, police located the first complainant, a 19-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to both arms and his right shoulder. The second complainant, also a 19-year-old male, was treated for a single gunshot wound to his right knee.
According to the preliminary investigation, the two victims were parked near the intersection of Tackawanna and Fillmore Streets. While the victims were engaged in a conversation with two unknown men, a third individual described as a Black male approached the vehicle and knocked on the driver’s side window. The suspect then produced a firearm and fired into the car, striking both men.
Following the gunfire, the victims managed to drive themselves to the hospital for medical attention.
At this time, a motive for the shooting remains unknown, and no arrests have been made. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is currently leading the active and ongoing probe into the matter.
