When the abandoned Mill Race Inn was intentionally set on fire about 8:30 AM March 15, 2026, security cameras caught three subjects around the building at the time the fire started. Two of the males, identified as juveniles have since been identified and are being questioned by authorities.
The other subject remains at large. The fire destroyed the historical building and caused roads to be closed around the 100 block of Buck Road. The building may have to be torn down.
Thankfully no injuries were reported during the fire. Firefighter from all around the area responded to the fire. The juveniles have not yet been arrested or charged in this matter.
