Philadelphia Police are looking for two males , that were armed with assault rifles that robbed a Brinks truck that was making a stop at the Budget Financial Center, which is located on the 7200 block of Torresdale Ave, near Cottman Ave. This happened at 8:43 AM April 21,2026, police said.
They got away with several bags of money , in a getaway car. That car was found on the 100 block of Fairmount with Brinks bags in the bag, police sources said.
No shots were fired , however a witness reportedly said he heard a shot. This location is flooded with a security cameras and police were on scene getting that footage, to track the vehicle and it’s occupants. That will be done on Fairmount Ave as well. The financial center was open for business after police cleared the scene.
