Police have not made any arrests in the overnight murder of 31 year old Walter Holloway, of the 2200 block of Oakford Street. While [police are still looking for security camera footage of the shooting, they have been able to determine a bit abut what happened.
Officers responded to a disturbance involving a large crowd on the 2100 block of Wharton Street. As they were disbursing the crowd, cops heard gunshots. They found Holloway who was shot, laying on the street. They quickly rushed him to Thomas Jefferson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:00 PM.
Police said he had been shot in the head and leg. According to police, the shooting happened at 10:31 PM.
