by Alex Lloyd Gross

Khala Hardy, 24, of Philadelphia, Will get to call federal prison her new home, after she was just sentenced by United States District Judge Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro for a carjacking that happened in March of 2024. Authoprities said she conspired with Nyeem Williamson to steal a car.

She got just over seven years for her efforts. On the night of March 15, 2024, the duo were on watching as a lady dropped off her friend. The two sprang into action with Hardy pulled a gun on the driver, demanding her keys. Then Hardy and Williamson drove off.

Authorities said Williamson provided instructions on how to disable the camera and GPS system in the car to avoid it being tracked. Within three days, police proved to be smarter and Williamson found himself arrested.

Hardy was implicated in texts, that Willamson told people on the group chat to delete. It was too late. Hardy gave a statement to police about what she had done.
