Police Investigate Three Different Shootings Overnight In West Philadelphia

Three different, unrelatedshootings happened overnight in West Philadelphia. The first was on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a 19-year-old male arrived at Presbyterian Hospital in a private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to his left pinkie finger. He was listed in stable condition.

A preliminary investigation determined the victim was shot during an attempted robbery in the 6700 block of Dicks Avenue. No property was taken during the incident.

The suspect is described as an unknown Black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a light complexion and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, including a black balaclava-style mask.

Responding officers were unable to locate a crime scene.

The second incident At approximately 12:23 a.m., a 21-year-old female arrived at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by private vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. She is currently listed in stable condition.

The shooting occurred on the 1xx block of North Millick Street. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.

About 3:56 AM., officers responded to the 1200 block of North 52nd Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:28 a.m.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.
