A motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries after a head on accident today, at Frankford Ave. and Eden Street. The crash happened around noon.
According to authorities on scene, A truck, owned by Carr-Duff was north on Frankford attempting a left onto Eden Street, when he came in contact with the motorcycle rider who was going straight. Police said that the crash is under investigation and would not say if speed was a factor. Car Duff is an electrical contractor.
The motorcycle was heavily damaged in the crash and there is evidence that the rider could have been thrown from his bike after impact. There is no traffic control device at the intersection. Both directions of Frankford Ave. were closed to traffic.
