Bensalem Police arrested eight males under the age of 18 for burglary and related offenses at 3:19 AM . The males are accused of breaking the drive through window of the Starbucks on Horizon Boulevard and stealing items from the coffee shop.
As police arrived, the males scattered and ran like rodents. Three were caught by Bensalem and the rest by Upper Southampton officers that arrived to help. Police said that they can positivity confirm that all eight were involved in the coffee shop burglary.
The males also are accused of breaking into several cars in the nearby neighborhoods and stealing items
The juveniles are also suspected of being involved in additional attempted thefts in and around the Neshaminy Square Shopping Center and nearby residential developments. Those investigations remain ongoing and it is requested that any business owners with video footage from overnight review it and share anything found with Bensalem Police.
All eight were released to their parents who had to drive to Bensalem Twp to fetch their children in the middle of the night. Due to their ages they are not able to be publicly identified but they are all from Philadelphia, police said.
