Philadelphia Police Investigate Car Robbery In Far Northeast Philadelphia

Two people were robbed yesterday at point of gun, as they sat in a vehicle on the 11500 block of Roosevelt Blvd. Philadelphia Police gave this account of the incident:

Shortly after 10:00 AM two males approached the 2023 Nissan. One leaned into the rear window and the second male opened the rear passenger side door and pointed a gun at the occupants. They stole handbag, identification, Nike sneakers, a gray duffel bag, and undisclosed amounts of U.S. currency from the victims before fleeing in a dark-colored Chevrolet Impala, police said. .

Police did not disclose any description of the thieves. It is unknown if this was a ride share vehicle or not and it is also unknown if the victims were targeted.
